Book a Table
You can now book your table from May 17th. We are so pleased to be able to welcome you back into The Bottling Plant. We are doing our utmost to keep you all safe with spacing of tables, and enhanced cleaning so please help us by abiding by the current covid guidelines.
Our Summer Menu has been carefully created by our Head Chef Scott to bring you a special dining experience.
Space is limited, and the weekends are especially popular so booking is recommended, although you can just turn up and we will do our best to find you a seat. When you book you can even let us know which area of The Bottling Plant you would prefer, and we will make every effort to seat you in this area. We also take bookings for those just wanting a drink, be that from our cocktail menu or our main drinks menu.
Choose Your Area
Please use the descriptions below to better understand our available seating areas to help you make an informed choice. If you would like to see how each area looks before making a decision, please check out our virtual tour here.
Please let us know in the comments whether you will be having food AND drinks, or just drinks.
We will do our best to ensure that you get the area you have requested, however, please note that it may not always be possible.
We look forward to seeing you soon!
Our glass-topped whiskey barrels are all made to our own design by a local artisan. These are a great spot to sip your flat white or Bottled Artist cocktail with a group of friends.
We have an eclectic mix of tables surrounded by carved oak chests and grandfather clocks. Take your seat and enjoy a Bottling Plant full breakfast or while away a couple of hours enjoying a platter or two and perhaps a bottle of local wine. Be our guest, leave the hard work to us and dine in style.
Sit back and sink into one our casual seating areas, furnished with Chesterfield luxury. This is one of our most popular seating areas, and with good reason. Here you will be sat at the height of comfort, where you can work your way through our extensive cocktail menu, created by our in-house mixologists, or perhaps enjoy a decadent afternoon tea – choosing from our hand-picked selection.
These benches have been a part of The Bottling Plant since its original purpose as the bottling plant for Coates & co (now Plymouth Gin) circa 1860 and later by the artist Robert Lenkiewicz in his studio. These benches really have seen it all. A favourite spot amongst our local writers and artists – still inspiring creativity to this day. To help get your creative juices following, why not establish yourself here and try our catch of the day or sample our BBQ jackfruit and pepper wrap, with vegan cheese. As the evening begins, the romance of this area only increases and improves our already delicious cocktails (or so we are told).
